Here you will find the basic information about Fieldclan. This thread will follow the culture, the common prey list, the unique techniques and/or skills, commonly used names and the common pelt colors of Fieldclan.
Fieldclan is named for the land they live in. A massive clearing filled with nothing but long, tough grasses. Surrounding the field are trees, which one could climb upon to look over the field. Fieldclan's camp snuggles up under a huge Willow tree right close to the center of the field, close by is a stream that runs from Mistclan land and keeps the clan quenched. Very rarely does the stream ever dry up, but in times that it does, the leader often attempts to ask Mistclan for a share of the streams.
Fieldclan cats are built skinny and long-legged. Able to move quickly through the tall grasses and leap very high as they jump out of grasses to surprise enemies and prey. They are used to hot weather and semi-soft soil beneath their feet. They would do poorly in very cold conditions, but have nonetheless survived many winters.
The most common pelt colors of Fieldclan would be a variety of golds, gingers, brown tabbies, black and spotted tabbies. Fieldclan cats are also mostly short-furred cats, for long-haired cats can get very tangled up in the fields.
Fieldclan RARELY has white, gray/silver, tortoiseshell and calico colored cats. Very rarely is there a medium-haired, let alone long-haired cat in Fieldclan.
Fieldclan naturally has more commonly-used prefixes for certain-colored cats. This doesn't mean no other clan cannot use them nor do you HAVE to choose these, but they are simply more commonly used in Fieldclan due to their area.
Such as;
Fieldclan's specialties revolve around their hind legs and speed. They are typically built for speed and lots of jumping. Expect them to come leaping out of or speeding by in the grasses!
Fieldclan has been known to be bone collectors. Using bones as weapons, shields, toys, for chores and sometimes the leader may use a sharpened bone while leading attacks, sometimes for display and sometimes as a weapon. Sometimes they will even use them to line the camp walls.

Fieldclan's Culture
A lot of Fieldclan's rules are exotic and strange to the other Clans. This can cause major confusion if another clan were to
somehow gain access to enter and become a member of Fieldclan.
Fieldclan strongly believes that bones are some sort of mystical item that can be used for various things, which includes but is not limited too;
[Bone skill and item list here]
Fieldclan believes that foxes hold a great mystical power. They do not normally chase off foxes, but if a fox causes trouble, it is normally killed after a group of many cats is formed. They use its bones and foxbones are greatly valued in the clan.
Fieldclan believes that a bloodline must be refreshed after pureblood breeding. Fearful of having mutations, they strongly influence that a Molly should breed with a completely unrelated rogue or loner when available. Whether by love or not.
Most cats in Fieldclan believe that cats outside the clan should NEVER join the clan. So the above^ belief of fresh blood is both hard to take in for some cats but they also do not question it but so much. So long as the tom does not join the clan, most cats do not complain nor up-rise against this rule.
It is forbidden for deputies to have 2 apprentices. This belief stirred up when an ancestor, who was deputy, was pulled away from his duties to train both apprentices. This created some confusion and chaos within the clan. Therefore, it was banned from happening.
Most Warriors within Fieldclan are allowed 2 apprentices at maximum. Medicine cats are especially eager to have 2 or more apprentices. The clan believes strongly in medicines and poisons and therefore the more medicine cats, the merrier! Because of this, the medicine den is normally twice the size of a normal medicine den. There have been records of Fieldclan having 3 apprentice medicine cats and 4 full medicine cats at one time. However, this is not very common.

Techniques/Skills
Fighting & Hunting Style:
Fieldclan focuses on using ambush as their main style of fighting. They are built rather skinny and agile, so they are unable to hold their own but so well against heavily-built cats. It is best for them to use the tall grasses in their territory as a weapon and a shield. Using circling techniques to confuse their opponent/prey and then pounce when they least expect it.
Most Fieldclanners can leap above the grasses, depending on the height, to startle their opponent/prey before attacking.
Training:
It is important for apprentices to learn how to handle moving in the grasses. They need to be more focused on their hearing, smell and feeling rather than their eyesight. The only way an apprentice would be able to see far ahead of him in the massive field that the clan makes their home in is if they were to leap above the grasses or find a clearing.
Most of the time, mentors will use these clearings to train apprentices in fighting and hunting before they are used to the grasses. Otherwise, they are an ideal place to catch birds!

Unique Ranks
Lookout
A lookout is a cat who stands sentry on the Willow tree that hovers over the camp. At this height, they are able to see suspicious movements in the tall grasses that could be large animals or cats. Normally, these cats are chosen for their fur color so they can blend in very well to the bark.

Whether by accident or not, the deed is
